Looking to buy a seat ibiza cupra mk3, but was wondering if you can get a tdi version of the cupra in the mk3 model???

If so which is better in terms of speed, acceleration, torque etc, and which is most readily tunable??

Thanks guys and girls...

They do a TDi Mk3 Ibiza, but it's not a Cupra, so no toys, bumpers etc.

In the Mk4 they do the 160bhp Diesel and the 180bhp Petrol 1.8T. Both are tuneable, but depends what you're after. For big power the petrol will be the most tuneable I would of thought, 350bhp region. Not sure how far you can go with the diesel engines.

about stage 2 and then your quits, the torque slips the clutch and imagine the extra torque on all the bearings etc, petrol tuning is much safer IMO

yea, the tdi sport does have toys, the sport is basically a cupra without the bumpers and the power

Editing your spelling
yup agreed, mines nearly the same spec as the cupra, bar some nice stuff like 1/2 leather seats, painted side skirts and bumper bottoms.

The mk3 TDI sport was the top of the TDI range for only 6 months in the UK so are quite hard to find.

The 110 Sport is a good buy, just buy some decent 16s, slam it with a Cupra front bumper and stick your Recaros in (yes, they'll slot in!)

You're on clubpolo aren't you?
