Mk3 Ibiza 03 with Strange suspension noise.

Hi,

I have an 03 Mk3 Ibiza and I am having an anoying problem with the font left hand corner making strange noises.

When ever I apply torque to pull off, accelerate suddenly or the car relaxes back after a braking application the front left hand corner emmits a rubber squeek(ish) type noise.

I have tried emulating it by compressing the suspension when stopped as I thought it may be a fauly damper but cannot recreate it when the car is stationary.

Is it something to do with the anti roll bar?

Has anyone ever heard of this before and if so what should I do?

mk3 in 2003?? are you sure its not a mk4?

Maybe mark 4 then. You seem more in the know than me.

front bushings.. seems a common fault on these cars and the mk4 golf

Yep, I hve looked into it and it is the front, rear wishbone bushes. Apparently this is a comment problem that happens within warranty. However not for me as Seat are trying to charge me £150 a side to change them.
This is only a metalastic bush that requires pressing out and replacing. My local garage quoted £80 a side.

Im not to happy with Seat at the monment!!! Everthing seems to be going wrong just outside warranty.
