Mk3 cupra bonnet

Hi,
i need some help if possible, i need to find out the weight of the bonnet for a Mk3 Cupra. Does anyone know what it is? CupraTgirl has asked to sort some gas lifts out for her bonnet, which i can get from work, but becuase they dont have them as OE, we need to find the weight of the bonnet so that we can get the right ammount of force needed to lift the bonnet and when its shut, not have too much to force it back open,or damage the bonnet or wing where it will be mounted if that makes any sence.

So, if someone could help me it would be much appreciated. I have rang the local stealers up today but they dont have any info on the weight of them.

Ah right, they are about thesame price as what i could get them from work, except they are stainless steel instead of just black like the ones from work.
Ah well, there ya go Alex, you can get them from there.
