mk3 1.4 8v to 1.4 16v? what exactly do i need

Ok so i cant afford a 1.8T lump..

So how do i go about the 1.4 16v conversion? what exactly do i need and can i get the parts straight off a 1.4 16v mk4 polo?

For the work involved and the minimal gains you'll get have you not considered a 1.6 as a half-way house?

the 1.6? Which engine is that? and how much do you pick them up for and what work is involved mate.

"With respect" mate, this forum isn't shocking.. but the word "Cupra" in the url might give you a clue that although there are some regular 1.4 and 1.6 owners on here, the expertise will need to be all yours if you intend to do an engine swap..
