Yes i sure have, bit of a pain to get the nut in under the car due to the suspension being in the way, don't use self tappers because they are pish.

You have to drill holes yes but it does fit snuggly.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220397278624 - I have bought this and it has arrived. Looks like it will fit but I'm not sure it it goes under the bushes, over the bushes, or over the retaining plate on top of the bushes... Also, the adjustable center, do you pull the struts together a bit(tension it by making the strut it shorter) or push them apart (tension by pushing out on the struts). I know this will affect the geom to a degree, not sure which is best. Its ally and very light - nice bit of kit, just no idea how to get it bolted on :)

Thoughts ?

On my Mk2 I use to have a Raid HP rear strut brace from a Polo 6N, it had adjustable threads so you could alter the length a bit to!

Worth a look out for it.

Just looked on the link above, basically the same as I had but with a raid hp sticker lol..... anyway remove the retaining plate on top of the bushes and adjust the strut brace to align with the suspension struts, you don't need that retaining plate no more. Put the nut back on to bolt down the brace, I then slightly made the strut brace longer only by a few turns.

As Dave said just make sure it isn't loose, and remove the plate, I didn't do this the first time and it makes such an annoying squeeking noise all the time. Saying that it does without it as well but nowhere near as bad or annoying.
