MK2 Seats in to a MK3???

Hi guys

My girlfriend haa s MK3 Ibiza chill and would like to change the standard seats to those from a MK2 Ibiza GTi. I know that MK3 seats will fit into a MK2 but are they a direct swap is what i need to know.

Any help appreciated.
