mk2 - Power loss

Yesterday I took my injectors out for an inspection and clean.
Popped them back in and the engine had a serious power problem. Then I noticed there seemed to be a bit of compression leak around No1 injector.
Today I replaced the copper seals for new ones, hoping that was the major cause for the power loss. Took it straight out, but it still feels sluggish. It has a major flat spot until the turbo kicks in, when the turbo is in it still feels crap. Although the engine sounds smoother that it did at first.

Ive managd to get it ooked up onto vagcom. I got the following errors:

00542 - needle lift sensor (G80)
30-10 - Open or short to B+ - intermittant

01237 - Fuel shut off valve (N109)
31-10 - Open or short to ground - Intermittant

001269 - Commencement of injection valve (N108)
31-10 open or short to ground - Intermitant

I cleared the faults.
Then I went under the bonnet and inspected the wire on No.3 and give the plug a jiggle. Took her out for a quick rag round the block it still seemed sluggish. Then re-scanned. Then back onto Vag-com, the faults have not returned.
Does this mean that its fixed or by clearing the faults, does it mean they will never return even if the NLS is still problematic.

The engine is 90bhp 1.9tdi AHU.
There is no smoke and idles fine. Its kust the pwoer loss thats really bugging me. Any Ideas?

Injectors may need recalibrating if you have messed about with them. Are you sure the signal wire is connected up properly?

thanks for your replies.

I took the injectors out but didn`t open them up, just replaced the copper washer seal/gasket that sits between injector and cylinder head.

Hoping to put a new MAF on soon, see if that clears things up.

One thing it did investigate was the wastgate control rod from under the car. I had my Dad rev the car up well int0 4000`s and back down a few times. That rod did not move once. So Im assuming its either siezed, or theres a pipe split, an actuation valve duffy.

Ive read about N18 and N75 valves, but at the minute im a bit unsure which is which, on the bulkhead I have two valve `looking` components both with vacum hoses attached. Is the left or right one for the turbo?
I have also read that they can be swapped around to test functionality? Are both valves identical in operation,.

Lastly There is another small tube running from the inlet manifold to the ECU, this pipe was split at the manifold end. Luckily there was enough pipe to cut the split off and re-attach. But this did nothing to improve my power loss issues.
Is this pipe the MAP sensor?

Hope you guys can add pointers to my questions. as I got a 400 mile journey down to Cornwall on Sunday to do.

Thanks
