Whats the headunit in the new Leon then? The MK1 I think is really good for a standard HU.

What are people's thoughts...

personaly i dont like it, I have never been able to play mp3 tunes, looks fairly bland so i have decided to change it to 6.5" screen dvd type gubbins, not sure from what company yet, did see a new Veba unit thats just out, bluetooth, nav &dvd priced at £380.

In comparison to other standard HU its quite good.But definitely not getting a chance of you being really pleased without changing at least the speakers!
Reading relative posts here i understand that people who changed standard speakers were quite satisfied,but my opinion is also adding good pair of subwoofer and amplifier...its all matter of cost and what you can affort.
My cousins 2006 gti has a simular HU (maybe more impressive and less quality sound,especially concerning maximum volume level).

Thats all I wanted to know really. I don't really want to play to much to with the new car when it arrives.

that my opinion too,considering that i alreaddy have the sub and 3 amplifiers from my previus car(an audi a3/00).Maybe after i get used to the idea that plastic rattling of this one is real and not my fantasy ,then i may upgrade ICE.For the moment i am only changing speakers
