Hi guys, first post in quite a while!

I have a mk2 pre facelift FR and the rear doors are being weird. Now, i've done some searching on here but nothing quite matches.

A few weeks ago the rest o/s door wouldn't open after i unlocked the car. Locked and then unlocked the car again and it was fine.

Did this intermittently until Sunday just gone when no matter how many times I locked/unlocked it, it just would not open.

Forward to yesterday, when the door all of a sudden started working again, but at the exact same time, the n/s rear door developed the same fault and wouldn't open at all.

Then today, both doors were working perfectly again after initially not working on the n/s.

It's not quite driving me insane but I need my dear doors for getting the kids in and I have the child locks on which means the doors can't be opened from the inside.

Anyone have any ideas? As it's both rear doors, I feel that it's all connected possibly.

Thanks in advance.

I had this on all 4 doors on my Leon, it seemed to be down to weather as when it was warmer the doors opened

I now see the issue being the door modules which fail on quite a few MK2's...

I followed this video which solved all 4 doors (they might not work straight away as I left mine over night)

Hope it helps.

Well today, after unlocking first thing, both rears failed to open but by the time I'd driven to work (10 mins), one was working again. rear

Fast forward to this evening and it was the opposite rear door not working!

It keeps just randomly changing. Seems to be worse earlier in the mornings when it's colder.

Haven't had a chance to look at them yet, hopefully over the weekend.
