Mk2 coilovers on a Mk3

i ordered some 6k coilovers off ebay, cheap nasty ta technix but only to realise that there not for my car (mk3) which the seller calls the 6k2...does anyone know if they will fit as the mk2 and mk3 are basically the same car i think?

should search mate thats the answer to all it really is but seeming im feeling nice ill tell ya na they wont fit the rears will but fronts are different send em back and get your money back then put little more towards and get the weiltec ones there on special at the mo so cant go wrong

its a 1.4 so im not really bothered as long as its low.... I had weitec on my cupra but for the slow wagon im sure theyll serve well. Reuvers runs mk2 front shocks apparently...but how? I cant see there being that much difference anyway

i did the same thing like got the 6k2 ones sent instead, took ages but they are on now but are rock solid, you will end up hating your council for building **** unflat roads
