MK1 Leon Widemouth FR TDI Start - Finish

Bought this Leon in 2012 and has been a brilliant car from start to finish. Now its for sale i really should put up some sort of progress thread

Day i bought it

The stupid backbox it came with

Original one going on

First clean and polish

De-badged and added FR badge in the corner

Discovering whats behind the front number plate (Stupid idea Seat)

Lowering Day (JOM Coilovers)

Removed the rear adjusters to make it lower

New exhaust tip for my backbox removal mod

Widemouth DIY day Please no harsh comments as i really didn't have a clue what i was doing and it was sort of a try it and see what happens job lol

Cutting old bumper

old mesh

Removing 'fixing bit' as i used it again

New mesh with really rough cutting lines added lol

Quick tart up underneath the bumper with black paint

Drying the glued and painted new mesh near the heater

Added Fabia Rear Wiper while i was at it

Widemouth & HID's

Backbox removal day - New pipe welded in, onto my new tailpipe

the widemouth conversion did you literally just cut the middle part out then added mesh? if so may attempt this myself as of when I get a spare bumper

Yes. Only cut the number plate bit of plastic out. Fitting a new bit of mesh is a pain though. I did glue it as seen in pics but its since come loose so now its screwed in place
