mk1 Leon Cupra

Hi everyone,some of you might know me from when i had my Ibiza mk3 Cupra.
Just thought i would do another Readers Ride thread now i have my Leon Cupra mk1

Not really much to say,cos its pretty much standered
I was told by the last owner it was remapped by Forge and runnin' 205bhp @ 235lbft



Here's a few pictures,and will have some more better ones soon

Looks smart mate. RS4's look great on leon's, and is that a performance exhaust i see also?

Not really doing much tbh,mainly lowering,side skirts,paint side strips, and sort back bumper out

It's more smoother power,but soon picks up the power through the gears.
Not as much fun to drive round bends tho like my old Ibiza,there again that was on ARB's and coilovers

I will be more happy once lowered it, i don't want to spoil the ride tho,cos i like it how it is.
So if i just lower it,will it still have a nice smooth ride ?

Depends on what setup you get, but i wouldn't just get lowering springs, do it right and get the shocks too. Mines not been lowered, its low enough as it is with that spliter on.

What tyres does it have, they can make a hugh difference to handling if they're poor.

There 18's i will have a look tomorrow what sort they are. Seems to handle ok ish tho
