Hi, i'm Mike from Loughborough, Leicestershire. Finally hit 15 posts so decided to do a intro with pics! I've owned my Leon Cupra R since April, I bought it off a good friend who had owned it for 8 years and had it from standard. It was on just shy of 90k miles but i've added a fair few since (now 98k due to a lot of long journeys). She's a 2002 model with the AMK engine but has a stage 2 remap (Revo) with all supporting mods so excels in performance.

This is the picture of when I bought her:

This is how she looks now:

I've spent a small fortune on the car since ownership and am looking at doing a drivers ride thread to explain all mods.

I took her around the Nurburgring in May and she gave me next to no trouble on the journey and really impressed me around the track:

It is running roughly 290bhp and loves a good hoon now and then!

Snap! Black LCR owner and been to the 'ring in mine as well (twice).

Did you find the esp intrusive at all (even if switched off)?

I actually come up to close to Loughborough (j22 m1) because my mate does most of the work on my car.

Definetly do a readers ride thread, certainly interested.

Oo, i'm going to the ring again next year, was one of the best things i've ever done!

It was a bit of a buzzkill but was still fun none the less.

Ah sweet, I will have to start on one soon, only just plucked up the courage to write a build thread on my mk1 golf and i've owned that for almost 3 years! :(
