slightly off topic - anyone know how to remove the rear lights? the outside ones are easy but the ones in the boot, I just can't figure out!

oh these light can be a right b&st&rd you have to remove the two size25 torx screws from the outside of the ar as you open the boot and then you will need to get a flat head screwdriver and from inside the boot shine a light up where the back of the lights show thro and push the really strong metal clips lose. you can use a plastic trim tool to just prise the clip off from the outside but i wouldnt use metal as this could damage the paintwork

if your still baffeled p.m me and il send you some pics!

back on topic my rearlamps rarely steam up but they have dome at 1 point fogs, headlamps, rearlights all steamed up

On the inside of the boot lid there are 2 rubber bungs that need removing to reveal some screws.

The third screw is under the black plastic removeable cover as mentioned by Kinky Beeza.

Look in your hand book under the bulb changing section

when you have the rear clusters off apply some grease to the really strong metal clips, they are like a ball and socket type thing

a bit of grease on them will make them pop off really easy next time ;)

So at least we all think seat plastic headlights are a pile of c*ap . Well if there is anybody from seat reading this, it's about time you stoped doing things on the cheap and started to make proper headlights that don't steam up at the first wisper of a rain cloud.
