mk 4 - 100bhp induction kit help?

Hi guys/gals just a very quick one

had a quick gander under the engine cover to fit my pipercross viper... I've noticed there seems to be a little pipe that attaches to what im guessing is the air box?

now my question is do I plug this or get a breather filter or anything like that?

Yes you need a breather filter.
Best to buy one on ebay.
I bought one from halfords and it didn't fit. You can measure it and order the exact size. I trimmed my pipe down so the filters at the front of the car I needed a 25mm filter and with a bit of bodging I made it fit.
