early models, up to 03 plate, had cassette, with a CD changer.
Later models had single CD, most with a CD changer as well.

EDIT: it is a bit hit-and-miss between 03 -> 54 plates - could be either.

If it's the Seat Aura system with the cassette that you have, then this will work with the auto changer (which fits in the glovebox), that's what I have (and what's fitted to the early Cupras).

Yes i have this system with the autochanger,i am looking to update but i would still like to use the autochanger if poss.

the auto changer wont work with anything except the seat heat units that it came with (either CD or CD cassette units)

it would be nice if you could by a different one and still us the standard CD changer.

oh well

cheers

Cheers for that. Sorry to hi jack the thread but my double din screen has the option to have tv/dvd but it wont actually let me choose it. Anyone got any ideas how this can be set up to work?

i think this will have to be done at seat (in the set up menu). you will also need a dvd changer, a tv antena setup and all of the other stuff to go along with it.

id say it would cost a lot.

this is the what need to be done with mercs so i would presume the same in seats.

cheers

So does the
seat cd head unit conect the same way as the one with the cassette and does it have the controls to work the autochanger?
