As title says. only does it from cold and in cold weather (about 0-5 degrees) It doesnt happen all the time though and its not especially bad (compared to when it was running of 3 and occasionaly 4 cylinders when a ignition lead broke). Spark plugs where replaced about 4500 miles ago. thanks

This might sound daft however when you first put the key in the ignition, turn ignition on but dont start the car for about 5 secounds to give the engine time to diagnose the temp, then start it and see if thats makes a difference,

Do usual checks for moisture in the leads use some good old wd40, also if you can remove the distributer cap remove it and wipe it out with a clean cloth,

Thats all the free options i can think of,

good luck!!
