Not heard of this one before but mine had problems with the mirror adjustment when I picked it up new. Left hand mirror was replaced and has never faulted since then.

Folded mine in one Sunday evening recently and come Monday morning they refused to fold back out - drove to work with them pointing in at me; at going home time, they happily folded out!

Not dared try them since but its going for a service in a couple of weeks so I'll report it then.....

I know on my Toledo if someone moves the mirror manually I have to fold them both forward (with the help of another person obviously) till they 'crack' out of the locating pegs or discs or whatever they are and when released (at the same time) they motor in and all the way out again.

Perhaps a dangerous thing to just have a go at though incase they're not the same type and you end up breaking something :(

I noticed on my FR that if you move the fold knob after removing the keys that the mirrors will not move out when you switch the ignition on, you have to move the knob to the folded place then move it back again.
