Mirror Removal

Hi there everyone...

yesterday i got my passengers side mirror hit to parking truck...the mirror was folded... the mirror cap was scratch (was an easy scratch to remove) but the part that holds and attaches the mirror to the door became loose.i got to the service and they told me that they had to remove the door panel to fix the problem..i couldnt accept it because i'm afraid of trim noises in my car.
while i was driving at night i saw that my mirror was shaking on bumps and etc.
is it an easy job to remove the door panels?
i have all kinds of tools , can i remove the door panel by myself? i searched but i couldnt find, is there a guide to remove the door panels?

Removing the door panels is a very involved job on the Leon.

The lock mechanism, and winder mechanism are all part of the door trim panel and have to all be removed together.

The mirror is easy to sort once the panel is off, it's just a single bolt holding it in place. I had a similar problem with the passenger mirror on my car when a seagull decided to fly into it.

yeah i understand now..it's a hard job to do myself....
AR-CoolC is it only fixing a bolt in service...the guy in the service also told me the same thing but removing the door panel would take their time... fixing the bold should be about 1-2.mins . job =)
ok thanx for the links but it looks like i'll fix it with the service=)
