You need to set mirror position for reverse gear.

Check your manual for the correct procedure to adjust the position for reversing.
From the top of my head, you should go to car setup (car icon), find mirrors, when you enter the mirrors menu turn the mirror joystick to L (for UK, RHD), put the car in reverse gear, adjust mirror for reverse, put the car into drive. The position should be saved.
The position of the joystick for mirror adjust should be in L position when reversing, otherwise it will not change position when you put into reverse.

Just in case, check your manual, maybe I missed a step.

Resurrecting an old thread, as I have the exact same problem that the OP originally had, ie in reverse with the mirror adjust switch to L, the mirror tilts up, not down.

My additional problem is that when I go to Car SetUp, I can't find Mirrors.

In the manual it says it's under Car Setup > Interior > Mirrors, but I don't have an Interior option, my options under Car SetUp are Assist Systems, Drive Profile, Background lighting, and Settings.
When I go into Settings, I then have Interior and Exterior, but when I choose Interior I just get Instrument Panel, and Lighting but no Mirrors.

It's a 2022 V2. Is the storing of a dipped mirror position available on V2 ?

Have you owned your car from new? If not, then the mirror tilting up might be down to a previous owner setting it up (incorrectly) that way. Might be worth checking under ‘Exterior’ settings rather than ‘Interior’ as it’s the exterior door mounted mirror that has the dipping in reverse function.

Also bear in mind that it’s possible the manual is incorrect………….🤔

The procedure for setting up nearside / kerbside mirror dip when reversing is as per post #5 at the link below;

Note that for RHD cars, the door mirror adjustment control should be set to ‘L’ for the left hand (kerbside) mirror, not ‘R’ as per the screenshot in the post at link above (‘R’ would apply to LHD cars).

I just picked the car up yesterday, so trying to get things set up.

Yeah, I think I understand the steps I need to do ( that link you gave says the same as what was posted above here ), but I just can't find Mirrors in the Settings anywhere, checked both Interior Settings and Exterior Settings............
Thanks anyway

Are sure when you see the picture of the car with the lighting option etc you have tried to swipe left or right? It doesnt show all the settings at the same time!

I have a different theory to explain OP's issue;

I have had my reverse tilt positions setup perfectly since the day I configured them many months ago. But a couple of days ago, the mirrors randomly decided to point at the sky - I believe a bug occurred.

The solution was to re-save all my seat memory settings, to keep it where it was supposed to be in D and R. Interestingly, the bugged movement range I set to tilt in R (from D) was identical, however the start position was shifted; like the gear selector thought it was in the R position while in D. Then when putting it in D, the mirrors tilt skyward.
