Hi mate, type it in on ebay, got mine in the correct colour on there for £20!
Just pushes in, they are the official seat ones and come boxed etc. Don't have the link but were easy enough to find!

The cover pops off by running a plastic kitchen spatula along the joint. Make sure you get it right under the joint, it can be a bit stiff

As i've already said above...

The cover does not just pop off.... my ones were secured from the inside of the mirror housing with (from my memory) 3 small torx screws.

Unless seat have changed this then i do not see how people are just "popping" them off?

The three small torx screws are to hold the mirror assy on....

You don't even need to remove the glass to change the cover....if your good!! ;-)

Just be careful as you may break the tabs with excessive force!

If you are unsure...come back!!

When u pop out my mirror glass, the assembly behind gets unscrewd and then theres a seperate screw or 2 that actually goes into the mirror cover itself.

i found this out as when i tried to pop my originals off, the first one would budge and then when forced, broke off. on lookin in to see what happened , it was then the screw going into the cap was noticed.

I'll take them apart this weekend and post up pics actually.

I did all the popping out the glass thing and it didn't work, I just got a blunt kitchen knife and levered the mirror from the side nearest to the car, it just popped off. SIMPLE! then the replacement ones popped on with a firm push.

I moved from silver to black too cause i'm going for a stealth look with no badging and black whatever I can get!

Mirror housing cover: removing

– Undo the mirror casing tabs -2- using a flat screwdriver.
– Remove the mirror casing -1- from the wing mirror unit -3- using the lever -U-30800-.

Must have special screw on mirror covers.........sorry cant post the picture from ELSA showing how to pop the cover off by moving the tabs!!!

I found the local car wash took off my standard fit mirror covers quite nicely. When I get round to fitting my gloss black ones, the car'll be shiny clean to match.
