Just put a set of mintex pads on a car, not mine which im now happy about. The left hand front is grinding like all hell on earth, really bad when you turn left. I'm guessing that the pad is uneven and needs to wear in. Car does stop very well though.

Has anyone had a problem like this with thses of any other pad???

There just normal mintex pads, i've used mintex a lot in the past without problems, but i've put 60 miles on this car with them on today, and the noise wont go away. Like i say though it stops very well and there is no vibration, it must be a duff set of pads.

Ive got mintex extreme on my fronts. They stop well but squeel badly. I've had them sanded down but still squeel alot. It reduces after time though. And the braking power is still increasing (after about 1000 miles).

Rog ran Mintex cheapies and had probs with them some time back. used em on track which highlighted their weakness. consumed them quick time and grooved the disks during the process.

LCR's are heavy, well servo'd so you are unaware of the heat they get up to when pressing on and stoping hard.
