My god that's tidy! I did exactly the same with a Racing Green. Spent loads of money on it. that was my first car.....except i can't let go and it's still sat in the garage. :D I have pics too. :)

Nice, love the colour too!

Theres an old dear up the road from me that has a white N reg Mini, 6k from new and she's the only owner. I have already offered her cash for it but she wants to keep it for a year. She has my number, I hope she calls me!

Fully restored it - new panels, respray (everything but back end cos not one bit of rust), bought the bucket seats, dash, erm.....so much! They only made 1500 Racing Greens so it is a limited edition. And rolling roaded at 49bhp at flywheel! What a beast. ;)

I have been thinking about it because now i have the Ibiza it seems gutless and bad on fuel....I did over 10,000 miles in it as my first car! But EVERYONE says the biggest regret they ever had was selling their Mini and that it was their best car. I even had a women stop me once in a Mazda RX-8 saying that she didn't like it and wanted her Mini back!

Nice racing green:)

Well i bought the car for £1000....payed a bit too much really for how rusty the god damn thing was. Spent about 5500 restoring it...It soon adds up.
I sold it for £1800 but it had a dent in the pasenger A panel and the arch was smashed (Work car park..*******s!)

My 1st car was a 1988 mini mayfair and i loved it to bits i paid £700 for and owned it for jst over a year....i had reciepts for £1700 1st thing i had to do was replace both subframes as they were rotten thru....after that was out the way i started on new wheels, flared wheel arches, buckets seats, centre exit exhaust, new dash and other shiney bits...and after all that i sold her for a measly £900

This is how she looked wen i last saw her:-

Well I bought mine for £900. The door skin was seperate to the frame on one door - had rotted out! Replaced A-panels, sills, rebuilt doors, rust around headlights, windscreen.....I got the whole bodywork and paint done for £900. But i got carried away. The seats themselves got about £350 for the pair... think I've spent about £3500.
