Milltek for Leon FR 20VT

Hallo,
I´m writing you from Germany. At least I am driving a Leon FR 20VT. The car is nearly originally so I would like to change some parts.
First I will start with the Exhaust-system. After I have had heard many german exhausts on an 20VT I was not very surprised of the sound.
Also German Leon-forums couldn´t help me so much. I think this Forum is in tuning-questions and answers much more fit then the German once...

So my problem. I am very much interested in the Milltek-Exhaust. Here we have in Germany the problem, that the Exhaust must be E-Approved. But the Milltek isn´t it. Now I´m thinking of it, if I could drive without any E-Aprovvement and risk it to be hidden by the police. But how much nois does the exhaust make and how does it really sounds ??? I love exhausts which makes only real noise if you step onto the gas-pedal ...

I always searched for Threads in your Forum and found many information. But a soundfile i doesn´t found. So I was looking for soundfiles on millteksports. There were some soundfiles of other Turbo-motors. Are these sounds of the Golf V GTI (I know 2.0 TFSI) and the Opel Vauxhall samely as the once of the Leon ???

I don't know if its E-approved but many people here have the Supersprint system - This system is only loud when stepping on the gas pedal, and sounds normal during normal use.

Thanks for your information. That Supersprint makes good sound only by stepping onto the gas I know from my last car, the Opel Tigra. There the exhaust sounds really great under full-gasing ...

But for the Leon I wants an exhaust with min. 63,5 mm Pipes and the Supersprint has only 54mm.

That´s the reason why I´m looking for Milltek.

Supersprint has also a 63,5 mm pipes (race version). The street version has 54 mm. I have a full Milltek (63,5 mm) under my Leon. Milltek is cheaper than Superprint, but same quality. Sound great under full throttle, but silent enough for cruising.
