Milltek downpipe - how would you know?

Hey folks,

So amidst the receipts in the owners book for my car I found a Star performance receipt for a;

"MILLTEK DOWNPIPE SEAT IBIZA CUPRA 1.8T"

After speaking with Star, they have confirmed they fitted it to my car.

However, when buying the car I was told by the dealer "it has a receipt for DP but thats NOT on the car..."

Seems strange someone would take that off as would be more hassle surely?!

Is there any visual check I can do to see if it has a stock DP/Cat or a Milltek one?

race cat is smaller the standard, the pipework should be smaller too.

I've not been able to have a look under the car yet, but if I can't today then I should be able to at the weekend to at least get a picture.

Unless I can take a pic of the downpipe from the top (under bonnet view) if that helps? Although that won't show much i'd imagine?

Milltek normally have a plate welded on saying its a milltek downpipe.

yep sent mine last week and there is a plate on the neck of it which has milltek stamped on it

if it looks different you'll at least know its a uprated one.
