Milltek Cat/Downpipe

Has anyone had the Milltek Hiflow/Race Cat/Downpipe or whatever you want to call it fitted along the the cat back system?

I am just wondering what sort of a difference it's going to make?

@ £259+vat is it worth it?

yep it works , u get a wee puff of smoke at start up, beacause u have more open CAT area ( good thing) and really does let the PD lump rev, n sounds class

Why do you want to spend alot of money on a hi flow cat when a straight bit of pipe welded in or go to powerflow and get a decat pipe fitted for £100ish does the job alot better ?

have heard that u dont need CATS , wasnt sure , plus the milltek keeps u legal , as its law to have a CAT fitted to any car produced after 1990 or something

If you want to stay legal get a cat bypass pipe fitted at powerflow etc like i said and what they do for £100ish is put flanges ( i love that word ) on the end of the pipe then when it comes to MOT time you just take out the pipe and put in the cat, after MOT put back the pipe.Thats what i have done for years.I have my PD160 cat in the garage and its probably only done a hundred miles if that since i had the decat pipe fitted the same day i pick it up from the dealers new and i will do the same with my next car.

I called Powerflow and they said to me they were not sure if it could be done on my car?
