loads of problems can be found just looking through the last few pages of posts matey.. The 'known' faults pop up all the time!

Im on 59k and my cambelt change is now booked in.. Running about 240bhp and no mayor problems really other than the maf sensor and a lambda sensor..

oh and a big WELCOME to cupranet  :cartman:

Mines on 61k

Going in for its cambelt and waterpump change shortly. I've only had a new MAF in just under a year which is the time i've owned it. Everythig else is fine for the moment

I've Just rolled over to 39k (Y Plate), only problems on my car has been Coil pack, Boot lock and the clutch pedal. All Common and simple things to get fixed and not too costly.
Cambelt and Waterpump to be changed very soon.

MAF sensors, Lambda sensors, Coolant Temp Sensors, Fuses melting & Coil packs.... I've had problems with all those and all replaced. They are of course very common faults in general for modern cars and particularly those of the VAG range it would appear.

I've done 51k miles on mine and car was bought brand new in July 2001 (by me, so one owner).

My blue one is on 77k and has had it's camb belt changed. it's running stg 2 revo

Mikes Silver one is on 54k and has had it's camb belt chaged it's running IHI

And the red one I imported was on 43k (at purchase) and it required, new sparkies, coil packs and a maf...

For the few problems you do have with them, they make up for it buy being all round wicked cars ;)

Good luck on your hunting.
