Can anyone tell me if I have the MFD3 unit?

I am looking to get the iphone connecting cable so that i can control the iphone via the media system. Would anyone be able to tell me what parts i need and if any fitting will be required.

Also, when i use the CUP connections (AUX or USB) i hear a background noise which is very annoying. Does anybody else with the media system installed have a similar problem?

as a guess ... no, the MDF3 is a DVD drive and the seat uses CD doesn't it ? the MDF3 or RNS510 looks different.

Ok so i have the RNS310 aswell as the CUP USB and AUX in ports.
Now does anybody know exactly what i need to buy in order to make my iphone 3g operable via the media system? Anyone?

its usually the premium bluetooth module that comes with the rns510 factory fit, not sure what else you can get it with.

you can retro fit it but most who buy the rns510 like me, dont bother.
