Sorry to post yet another Meg's question. Just been looking on their site and see they have a range for "enthusiasts" and another range for " bodyshops". Does anyone know what the difference would be?

Bodyshop gear better? Enthusiasts stuff is simplified bodyshop products? Same stuff, different name? Bodyshop gear is for use with PCs?

Thanks.

I have been looking into this recently (never used clay before).

Looking at...
1.Wash with Gold Class Shampoo
2. Dry
3. Quik Clay detailing system
4. Show Car Glaze
5. #26 Hi-Tech Yellow liquid wax or Swissol as I have some of that left !

what do you think?

Some of the Pro stuff is more concentrated. There was a thread in detailing world where a chap from these 'ere parts (RobDon) stripped the anodizing off his wheel wassnames with Wheel Brightener.

I like to get he muck off but that is a bit OTT!

Beesix - Clay is good stuff for getting the "unseen" stuff off! Last weekend, I used Megs Scratch-X followed by some Meg's stage 2 Deep Crystal polish. Run my hand over the paint and I could still feel some bumps and roughness. Looking closely, it was sap and minute spots of tar! A clay bar would have sorted that.

have a look at my WHOLE detail report, that should help.

The pro gear is deffo better, and usually aimed at the machine polishers. Whilst enthusiasts polsihes can be used with a PC they are not as tailored to what an individual car may need, more of a one for all line up....

hope this help
