Matt Johnson, will return to UK racing this season in the SEAT Cupra Championship. The former winner of th Clio Cup, Ford Fiesta Championship, and VW Racing Cup, narrowly missed out winning the Spanish Supercopa Cup in 2004, the equivilant of the SCC in Spain.
He is to be partnered in his Johnson Motorsport team by former Proton series champion Robert Ross, wo also raced with Matt in Sapin in 2004.
Johnson is qouted: "We had a great season in Spain and after getting together with Rob again we decided to have a go at the British series."
"We'll definitely be aiming to go and win. We're not under any illusions about how tough the season will be, but it will be enjoyable and we can't wait to get back on the UK tracks."
