Got the multimeter out today after having misfires a couple times and a MAP signal too high fault code that could either be wiring or the sensor itself. I checked the pins on the MAP plug and they read 5.1 and 5.6volts with the ignition turned on but not running. Does this seem ok? If so looks like it's new MAP sensor time.

Thankyou

According to this:

Approx. 5volt supply voltage is fine, so that's OK wiring wise. Interestingly the error code I've been getting "signal too high" means, "Output voltages between 3.0 and 4.5 volts indicate a low vacuum (high pressure) situation such as hard acceleration or a mechanical failure".

Why would hard acceleration give me a fault code though? Or does it just mean the sensor is fooked lol.
