I know this has been covered, but I just want to know how many people have got an uprated clutch in their mapped 130tdi?

I know everybody says get the Sachs one, and no dobt it;s the one to get. But not actually seen many people with one fitted. Most are stilling running standard i think.

Also how many miles you done on standard clutch with map would be cool.

Thanks guys!

As long as you get it mapped no more than 190ish bhb and under 300lb.ft torque your standard clutch will be ok.I know the upgraded Sachs one will give you better bite, more of a racey feel.
I'm looking for the same thing...my car has been mapped, however Turbo popped after 1week.this has led me to upgrade so now waiting for my hybrid Turbo and need to fit upgraded clutch too.any1know how much they cost for full kit Inc replacement for DMF to SMF?I have cupra tdi

Standard clutch is rated to 300lb/ft. Unless you drive it like you stole it (and its in a fairly good condition anyway) you should be fine on standard jobbie
