Have got a problem with my MK3 Ibiza cupra

The car starts fine, and goes well enough as long as you dont put your foot down.

As soon as you try and give it some (revvng it past 3k) there is a juddering sensation and the car looses power.

I have checked the following

DV and all associated pipe work no problem there
Unplugged the MAF and ran the car, that didnt fix it
Have recently had the coil packs changed.
Checked all pipe work from the IC and that seems ok.

any other suggestions

by they way i am running REVO .

mine have never been replaced, so they can';t use that as an excuse, get somebody with vag-com to check it out for you, at least you know theyre not screwing you over, unless its under warranty :)

does it idle badly and rev ok when stationary but go lumpy when driving slowly (ie under 3k revs?
if it is lambda sensor (pre cat) could be buggered, mine is from going through water. warranty replacement on tuesdayfor me.

could be a bad eath to the coils, remove the plugs and clean the contacts up

Have you put shitty fuel in the car recently?? i had exactly the same problem not long ago when you put ur foot down no power car just juddered along.. Plug it in and it was a combustion fault, and it was the fuel i used, it didnt have enough octane in it... So added a high octane booster and everything was fine again.. Hope this helps..

i did think about the petrol but i have been using optimax for ages i would be really suprised if it was that, even more so as i always use the same garage and have done for the past two years and never had a duff tank and it gets filled up nearly twice a week.

also i have used half a tank without any problems

i have been blessed really, this is the first time the car has let me down in 60k miles.

Ditto!!!

Same thing happened to mine, put fuel in and it went all wrong. But i had dash lights come on aswell. i drove the car to (different) petrol station slowly whacked in £20 more fuel and the problem went.

This was about 3 weeks ago and no problem since.

It was also the only time i've taken my other halfs parents in the car and it made me look a fool [:@]

Mate i always run mine off optimax, and sometimes its just shitty fuel with not enough octane in, when there was a petrol shortage it happened to me, so i reckon they just put any old fuel in the pump and it f**ked my car up, go and buy some octane booster, try and get the NOS one, the race one as it puts the octane up by 7 levels, take it for a drive to mix it all in with the fuel, and im positive it will sort your problems.. It will take a while to all mix it but it will work..

I had a problem, when a floor it and the boost came up, the engine just went off. It was the fuel pump line that was leaking. Check that out.

well, added some octane booster and that hasnt cured it.

The engine is now idling a very tiny bit lumpy and there is tons of exhaust out the back and a very very faint smell of bad eggs.

which makes me think coil packs deffo

any other opinions?
