Hi all,
Well I have been waiting 14 weeks for the following car
Leon Stylance 2.0tdi DSG, Bluetooth, Sports Pack, Convenience Pack, Parking Sensors and 18 inch wheel upgrades.
The car turned up on Friday and I picked it up late in the afternoon. I didn’t really get a chance to drive it because we were going out so the first opportunity was Saturday morning.
Sat off on Saturday and I lowered my drivers window!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! big mistake, it was absolutely P**s wet through when I put it back up. Thought no worries as I could get that sorted (I hadn’t read the threads by this point). Suddenly at about 60 miles (on the clock) and at about 40 - 45 mph (and above!!) there was hideous rattle from behind the dash! This has just continued to rattle.
Then the car starts juddering like it isn’t running on all cylinders. I reported it to the dealer and the first free service slot is in 5 days! Not happy at all. In addition the Bluetooth keeps dropping its connection during calls. I have upgraded the Bluetooth firmware on my phone and checked compatibility with the seat website,
In addition to all these problems, it appears hat the 18 inch wheels fitted to my Leon are not the ones that appear on the website or in fact the ones I was expecting. They are an 18 inch version of the 17 inch sports pack wheel and not the seat sports (multispoke type that the dealer showed me). I have been told that the wheels I have fitted are the only factory fit wheels as the seat sports ones are an aftermarket option only. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm duno about that.
Help Needed
Please can anyone who has a leon stylance with the sports pack and the 18 inch wheels please confirm what wheels they have or in fact anyone who knows what wheels should be fitted please let me know.
I have told the dealer that I will be rejecting the car if the problems are not sorted.
Anyone got any ideas or had similar problems in the past. There help will be much appreciated.
I’m really F****d of as this is ruining what is in essence a great car.
Thanks for listening.
Rant over.
