I'm wondering if my engine in my 2001 seat leon s 1.6 16v has a MAF?? It is the AZD engine. Ive had a problem with my idle stability, when ticking over the idle speed dips and rises by a couple of 100 rpm.. this only seems to be an intermitent problem though... Is there anyone out there that might know what this is??

Your engine has Magneti Marelli type 4MV injection. Sensor fit includes intake pressure and temperature, coolant temperature, engine speed, cam position, a knock sensor and two lambda probes.
There is no MAF.
Prime suspect for idle stability would be throttle body, I'd have thought - clean and re-align. VAG-com would be very helpful in identifying any faults.
