mate.. i fitted the coolant temp switch in the carpark of VW where i got it from.. it took literally 3 minutes and does not even need the use of tools.

the coolant temp switch is held in place by a plastic clip which is easy to just pull out, put new temp switch in place and push the clip back in place.

thats a shocking amount, i would be complaining about the cost of labour for that job

got it done on monday at seat (arnold clark) in Edinbrugh will give them a call as the cheeky c**nt phoned me and told me on the phone it would take approx two hours.Do u think there is an extra charge for it being a bank holiday.

i would deffo kick up a stink... and no extra should be charged for bank holiday.. unless he told you that in the first place.

it takes approx 5 minutes at the max to fit one.. im sure others will confirm this.
