Hi all,
In an attempt to find the cause of my damn hesitation i unplugged the Maf and did a run.The car performed as well as if it were still plugged in - idle good, performance good.
The question is do you think it should perform better with the maf plugged in or is the maf just knackered?

If the MAF is unplugged and it ran well then its time for a new on, unplug it take the car down the road in 3rd gear at 1500rpm then plant your right foot, if it goes like it shouid its your MAF, repeat with the MAF plugged in, if its crap in comparison get a fresh one,

Hope this helps

Don't know then, i was told on here before if it run better unplugged then its the MAF, if yours runs the same then i'd say its not the MAF, have you tried logging the MAf on vag-com or similar?
