Hi
Im a new member to the group, i have just seen the pics of your car and was just wondering how much you have lowered it by. I haven't even lowered my car and already the bumper has cracked and i have got a few chips underneath the splitter.

Lowered it far too much ha ha

No idea as we just wound the coils down to where I wanted it and then did the same on the others. There's not measurement settings on the coils to know precisely how low it is. I can see it being highered tho as I am sure it must be damaging something mechanically.

Ok then I will let myself be pigeoned as OEM++ Old school :)

Sponsorship decals may be on by the end of summer pending on funds for it. But now I have had it now as it is I wonder if it would spoil it

Do you ever get people asking you if you're name is Max D ? :cartman:

Nope surprisingly I don't, not even 1 person. Maxxd.com stickers give it away as to what its about.

Rides really nice compared to the bilstein sprintlines I had. They were slightly rock hard but I enjoyed them on the car. So I would recommend the FK's

What's all this OEM+ stuff?
basically in short a genuine accessory

when the mk2 was new they leant heavily in the Cupra Sport name and sold (for £££ LOADS £££) the bumper spoiler and twin headlamps there was also a suspension kit and some lovely yellow or blue edged carpet mats iirc

i have a copy of the old pages somewhere - was mega money in its day though

mines got the same but the fronts now scrap - they are a bit fragile and low
