Probably worth looking at Gmax springs as they are good for the price. I looked at fitting my ebach springs on tuesday, but when looking through the Haynes for the ibiza MK2 (same suspension setup according to mOrk) it mentions about replacing certain bolts as they cant be reused. It can be done urself without too much hassle, but i dont fancy screwing something up myself so i might let a garage to do it! Unless sum1 local to me who knows what theyre doing can do it? Any takers??

I could probably offer to help for beer money. The only thing I'm missing is a 22mm spanner, so if you had one of them then I'm sure we could sort something out.

EDIT: I'm not sure any bolts NEED replacing, although I'm worried about my suspension now seeing as I changed it a couple of months ago and changed no bolts?

wouldn't have thought changing springs would NEED to replace bolts, relatively simple to fit provided you have a spring clamp i would imagine..

I am thinking of getting some eibach pro kit springs as dont have enuf money for coilovers too.
Hope I will see some improvement in the ride and handling.
The oem ones are not too good...

The H&R Cup kit IS a spring and damper kit. In my opinion, it's a false economy putting lower springs on standard dampers, it will only improve the car aesthetically.

Suspension just isn't something to skimp on. FK coilovers can be had relatively cheaply and although I don't like them myself, many have said they perform well.

I totally agree it not doing any good to car, but i only want it for looks tbh. I dont/ cant drive my car too hard as its a hairdryer under the bonnet! plus i dont think ill have it much longer than a year? Im only going by the haynes manual (mk2) saying there sum speacial greasey glue type thing that only works once, so when undone needs replacing apparently?

haynes manual on my old car told me i needed to replace the screw on the rotor arm, inside the dizzy cap, as long as you take car in not rounding the bolt or screw you should be fine i reckon...

"A new driveshaft nut, new suspension strut-to-hub carrier bolt nuts and a newtrack rod balljoint nut will be required on refitting. All self locking nuts should be renewed. These nuts have threads which are pre-coated with locking compound which is only effective once." Mr Haynes himself... what ya rekon??

I reckon you'll be fine reusing your bolts, although if you're concerned, ask a professional opinion. Like I said though, I'm more than happy to lend a hand with the fitting.

Never replaced any bolts before, done track rod end and top mounts as mine were getting old but then on my 1.4 and 1.6 I never bothered and had no problems. Changed the suspension on the Cupra three times without any issues too.

As long as you've got the right tools and nothing is too rusted, yeah, its just a case of bolt off, bolt on really.
