Low power problems

Hi,
i have a 1996 P reg Toledo 1.9 TDi SXE with 1Z engine code and i have low power problems.

I have hardly any power when pulling away in first gear and takes ages to speed up, it's really bad when going uphill and won't go over 70 unless it's going downhill with a back wind.

I was driving along a couple of months ago and one of the engine valves broke, i took it to a good mechanic and he repaired the valve but after he did it didn't have the power that it used to.

After doing a bit of reading on here and other places i thought it was the MAF so i got one from a scrapyard but it made no difference so i put the original one back on. Eventually i got it scanned with VAG COM and got the code - 00575 - Intake Manifold Pressure 17-10 - Control Difference - Intermittent.

After further research online i changed the n75 valve, checked the vacuum pipes, changed the vacuum pipes, checked all the large hoses, took off and checked the intake manifold, the exhaust manifold and took the turbo off. I couldn't take the turbo apart cause i couldn't get the bolts undone but all looked fine, parts moving freely and things.

The turbo is working, it kicks in about 2500 revs so i don't know what the problem is, i was just wondering if anyone had any other ideas. I don't want to spend very much on it if i can help it as i don't have much and i'm trying to sell it cause i have another car but i still want to get it to work properly because it's really annoying.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks for reading.

Did you get any error codes off your Golf
I wouldn't have thought that faulty injectors would cause the intake manifold pressure error code, but then it could do, i don't know really.
I'll have a look at them when i get the chance, see if i can see anything.

Thanks.

Phil.
