Lost feel

Title's a bit vague but basically I have a Mk2 Cupra 16v and I've lost feel through the sterring wheel gradually.

Did a search but nothing really came up.

Been reading through this section of the forum and it seems top mounts are prone to going. Could this be what has happened to my car?

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Alex

Tyres are brand new. The tracking is okay, steering wheel slightly to the left a bit but nothing major... I presume the camber is okay- I had no uneven tyre wear on my old tyres. Could be wirth getting it checked though.

Had wheel bearings replaced yesterday and I thought that may have fixed it but apparently not.

(rear) wishbone bushes die very easily on these, specially after a fair few miles. Definitily worth doing. Also ball joints as well. Not amazingly difficult to do, either, but new bushes must be pressed in. Any garage can do this.

You'll feel a world of difference, i cant comment on Poly bushes as not fitted any yet, but thats what im looking to do soon.

Do it and it'll feel so much better.
