Loss of turbo in the mornings

My Leon 1.8T Cupra Mk I has developed an annoying habit...if the car has been stood and not used for a only a couple of days, the turbo doesn't work. Even if I drive very carefully until the car is totally warmed up (ca 10 miles), the turbo still doesn't want to kick in and there is a lack of the normal whooshing-turbo noise. However, if I pull over and turn the ignition off and on, everything is back to normal and the turbo works fine.

The car has been to both a dealers and a local garage and nothing comes up on the VAG diagnostic.

The car is standard with no modifications and is regularly serviced.

Has anyone else encountered this, or any does anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks!

That's spooky, because if you search using exactly the same text as you've put in the thread title, I think you'll find the answer...
