Not sure if this is right area for this guys, if not...soz!

I have a shortlist of cupras that i am hoping to start viewing this weekend, was wondering if anyone knew anything about any of the below cars and if they belonged to members on here? I have been trawling the net for about a week, have been looking on Pistonheads, Ebay, Autotrader and here. Would really appreciate if anyone can take the time to have a quick peak at them, cheers, rob.

Ahh thats a shame about the 2nd one, it looked lovely but prob a bit far for me to go! Its looking like its going to be the 3rd one, just got the monies sorted this evening !!!!!!!!!!

The only thing about the 3rd one is it hasn't got all the mods to support/ get the full benefit of the stage 2 remap. With stage2 you'd usually have a K03s turbo, FMIC and a sports cat aswell as the other mods the car has. No way would he be gettin 225 brake from that car.

i did wonder whether or not it needed a larger FMIC...

By not having the K03 turbo it wont damage the engine/current turbo will it running those figures? Sports cat again would be a benefit, how much are they? The guy is ringing me tomoz to talk turkey and i have a list of questions to ask him.

The standard K03 turbo is not capable of producing 225-237bhp. Where as the K03S is. Sports cats cost around £300+ from a company called Blueflame.

God damn, does the sports cat pass MOT's? How much are the K03s'?

Is the setup he has (going by the ad) harmful to the engine?

Yeah sports cat will pass an MOT. K03S turbos sometimes come up on this forum and ebay expect to pay anywhere between £150-£250. I'm not 100% sure if it would cause any damage to the engine, maybe someone else could help you on that one, or just try a quick search.

doesnt say a K03s turbo is needed, it does say the 4bar FSE is needed though which he has fortunately, also in the ad says he has 90degree samco hose, maybe for FMIC? However he has listed and totalled the mods up quite accurately by the looks so surely he would have put if it had larger FMIC. Hmmmm will know more when i speak to him tomoz.

Don't see it causing damage, as it wont be running anywhere near that power without the supporting mods as stated by J3RV X.

Looking at around 200bhp

With stage 2 revo : No fmic, sports cat or ko3s

The ko3 will just be producing loads of heat and run out of puff real quick.

Double check he is actually running stage 2? or any other supporting mods.

I'm unsure what he 90deg hose is for you'd have to ask him about that one. But as that post mentioned you will defo need/benefit from having a FMIC, also the bhp figures he's mentioned are just unrealistic from a K03 turbo so ask him if it's got the K03s fitted.

and obv the life of the KO3 will be shortenned running stage 2, will find out what PSI he is running to. Also what mileage does the cambelt/water pump need replacing etc?

Don't quote me on it but i think the cam belt should be done @ 60k you should do the waterpump at the same time and replace the water pump with one that has a metal impellor. My waterpump went at 42k so i done the cambelt at the sametime.

Plus are you still breaking you're punto? i need a few interior bits for mine.
