So I’m in the market for a Facelift Cupra 290/300
Spec wise I’m looking at
Black - non negotiable
Pan roof - non negotiable
Lux pack - negotiable

I’ve had a search and the only black one with a pan roof I’ve found is a cat S off facebook marketplace.

I saw them. But ideally looking for a black lux or one with a sunroof!

Have you looked through the main dealer network? I snagged my PFL ST 290 with pan roof from a main dealer and I found it mostly by accident as I wasn't even looking for a Leon lol.

Same as yourself, a pan roof was a deal breaker for me.

Bonus: You'll get 2 years Seat Used Car warranty and as I am finding out right now, it's worth thousands!

IMHO when looking for any used car, being flexible on colour and spec can significantly increase the number of available cars that are up for sale. We all have different priorities when looking for a car but for me, I’d rank condition and service history above colour and the existence of specific options. @Simmo44 - would I consider a Cat S insurance write off? Personally, no I wouldn’t.

When I bought my current car, my colour preference was blue, although I was more than happy to consider other colours. The only colour I didn’t want was black - looks really good when clean but a black car is too much of a labour of love for me these days (I’ve owned five black cars over the years) and a definite ‘swirl magnet‘. I ended up with a red car and have no regrets.

I've had 3 cars, 2 Audi and my Leon, with Pan roofs and never had a drop of trouble but I service and maintain them so could be the difference.

Loads of people do have problems but they will be the minority statistically

I’ve had a 330d with a sunroof. I really miss it to be honest, especially in summer with a full car…
