Looking to buy Leon Tdi

Hi

I'm going to have a look at a '51 plate Leon TDi SE with 100K tomorrow, body/internally (from pics) seems ok MOT'd in Dec '08. So I was wanting to know roughly what to watch out for, I've heard about the door seals and the pollen filter causing wet footwells, anything else?

From what i have gatherd about the TDi's they seems pritty strong! my mate has never had a problem and 187k on clock. just watch out for the usual stuff mate not much to worry about

Hi guys, well went to look this morning and guess what... drove away with it!!!

Offer was too good to PEx my old car and the car was spot on. There's a few things which I need to sort out, but in good time!

On route back from picking it up I bought a new stereo so I can plug in my IPOD and bluetooth my phone, plus I got it chipped by a very decent chap (details on request!) and now the performance is outstanding... I just need to get used to driving a diesel again!!!

So all in all V

Did you get the 110 or 130? how much did you pay?

I recently paid £3k and p/x'd my sh!tty fiesta for a TDi SE 110 '51 plate, 97k on the clock, f/s/h all new eagle F1's, fresh mot, 6 months tax...

wanna know if i did ok...

I got the 110 BHP for £2900 with 100K and 9mth MOT with 3 new tyres 1 good.

The standard increase is about 30-40 BHP, but the chap (a mate of a mate) has the same model and he did a few extra tweaks for free. It now just drives real smooth and with bags of oomf!!! Well pleased!!!

Oh, forgot to say the Mrs drove it yesterday and she came out smiling...
