Looking to buy 2002 Cupra

Hi all. Don't own a cupra yet, but will shortly. I have just been to see a 2002 (52 reg) cupra that had the full body kit and 17" wheels. Is that standard - I thought only the Cupra R's had the body kit and larger wheels? They seller said it was standard and they owned the car from new.

Late 2002 Cupra Ts come with a similar bodykit to that of the Cupra Rs and 17" wheels as standard. Cupra Rs come with 18" wheels and slightly more aggressive looking bumpers. Sounds like the car is standard

yes sounds standard, the facelift was in 02 when the "mean" looking kit was added. 17"s are standard (the 5 spoke ones)

They're the STD wheel's from the facelift Cupra, which it sounds like you've found...they introduced the facelift round about the age of the car you're looking at.

Only difference is that Pabs has added a Splitter to the bottom of the bumper!
