Looking for latest MIB3 version

Hi,I bought seat ibiza 2021 one week ago.
Thanks to thread I understood how to proceed with upgrade, but I'm still confused about version to use.
I'm currently using version 782

Seat offical site says latest is 841 (https://www.seat.co.uk/owners/seat-connect-app/ota-software-updates/ibiza-arona-ateca-tarraco.html)
mibsolution.one says latest is 870 (https://mibsolution.one/#/1/9/MOI3/LG/Seat MIB3OI 0870).
mib-helper.comsays latest is 890 (https://mib-helper.com/index.php?train=MOI3_EU_SE_R7820L#details)

Can someone clarify this point?

The experts I'd say are @East Yorkshire Retrofits that may give you a free pointer.

There seems to be two series, one covers the Ateca, Formentor, Leon 4 and they are XXXX. The other for lesser models Ibiza, Arona YYY. Three and four characters.

Mib helper is a bit like an AI system if it pushes you in the wrong direction you are stuck. Mib solutions is a repository of firmware but no board to say which to use / discussion thread.

East Yorkshire Retrofit that sell the firmware, their website offers a useful check to see what they are offering and being a board sponsor offer free advice.

Looking at their website nothing for mib3 jumps out at me although in the past it did....

As for over the air mib3 updates you need to have a valid connect services login and not set it as hidden or restricted. A few lunatics did this in the past it was said you didnt get the beep from the emergency call, that may be true, but thats a bug and should be fixed under warranty, telematics unit. They didn't want to be tracked but if you do that you don't get the firmware updates.

All things being equal, good 4g signal, not restricted your user as guest or whatever it is, withing the free period you should get the upgrades.

Over to @East Yorkshire Retrofits who I'm sure will fill in any bits I've missed. The Seat site documentation may not be upto date.

BTW for mib2 firmware there is a long running informative thread

Try another cable to test. Maybe bad usb port

Back on topic when East Yorkshire use to sell the mib3 files people got stuck that they were using USB A to USB C adapters. This is quite common. Not fully wired. You use a reversible USB as per the thread in that situation.

I want to update the firmware of the infotainment system (Discover media) of my 2018 Arona. I now have version 0468 and the latest is 0480. I have already downloaded that (from mibsolution.one). I watched some videos on YouTube where firmware updates were performed on Discover Media systems and...

You have the Mac one if using a Mac, you need to use CleanMydrive to remove Mac garbage else it won't see the firmware update, ditto with map updates.

Similar to mib2 high the unit does a signature validation check so any garbage in the files and it won't see the update.

Unfortunately we’re no longer able to distribute any VWAG software updates.

We’re still offering our services in person (allowing us to ensure the vehicles build data is kept up to date with the software configuration on the vehicle). This means we’d need the vehicle at our workshop in Bridlington

1XXX is MOI3 for MQBevo. 1969 is currently the latest.
0XXX is MOI3 for MQB. 0870 is currently the latest.

1XXX is MEN3. MEN3 is the entry system. There are two variants of MEN3 software.
File names with SE38X are MQBevo.
File names with SE326 are MQB.
Currently 1800 is the latest MEN3 SE326
Currently 1805 is the latest MEN3 SE38

not sure to get your point.
in what I listed all are 0XXX.
Any way, I can't find 890 so only remains 841 or 870.
and if I understood correctly the saver way is to spent about 70€ to enable 1 year "Seat Connect" and been able to use "OTA" upgrade.

BTW I have read posts from East Yorkshire Retrofit which have pointed to enabling this firmware after the update which involved the VAG mothership - where people have taken mib3 files from Mibsolutions site. The connected services ones it's taken care of... thus I think for Mib3 files from Mibsolutions you might find you can install them but they still need the mothership / additional processes that your average guy hasn't got. May be why East Yorkshire stopped providing them. Dunno. Unlike Mib2 we don't have a Mib3 firmware thread. If we have, it needs pinning. A dealer in any case would do the work if deemed as part of a bug.

That’s not why we’ve stopped offering them, from what I can remember I don’t think we’ve ever offered the updates capable of causing the issues for DIY

We still offer an update service in person as part of our update packages, we’re unable to distribute the updates themselves.
