Looking at a black Y reg leon cupra, 75K full service history, motd till jan good nick with a few stone chips and scratches as is the norm at that age. The local garage (not a seat one, just a car dealer) is wanting 4900 for a cash sale? Sound worth it? Whens the cam belt due?

seems a little high to me. cam belt is (or should be) checked at 60k service and every 10k afterwards until it needs replacing. if it hasnt been done i would recommend getting it done asap really as it will cost you alot more if it does break!

not sure where you are looking for cars for sale but check out the for sale section of this forum! if a car is being sold by an active member theres a good chance its gonna be a solid car! (not a guarantee though so dont hold me responsible! :))

parkers says
Original Price £14,995
Franchised Dealer £6,475
Independent Dealer £6,120
Private Good £5,610
Private Poor £4,180
Part Exchange £5,305

with 50K. I thought 4900 wasnt too bad but maybe it is a bit much. gonna check autotrader just now.

Cheers, think i might but it doesnt seem to badly priced from looking at autotrader, think it must have a different front bumper from a slightly newer model its the kinda oval front bumper if ya know what i mean.

Make sure you check that cam belt - if it has not been changed it will need to be budgeted for! could be a bargaining tool!
