So.I don't have the key for my cupra r wheels and am thinking best option is to buy new ones and take the car to seat to get the originals removed and then fit the new ones. According to my reg search on Halford these are the ones I need

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/..._productId_193561_langId_-1_categoryId_262855

Can anyone confirm these are correct and is there any easy way to get the originals.off without going to seat?

If you pop into seat, you can ask them to use their master key. They havw a box of all the different locking keys, you just match the one up, undo then drive off :)

They can sell you one once they know what key it is, and once they have ordered it in!

If not you could ask a garage to weald a nut on and do it that way or even drill them out they are both worst case scenarios of course :)

Just bray a socket over the locking nuts with a hammer and remove that way..its what i done, Just be carefull not to hit your wheels

Before it gets to that point, any self respected garage would refuse to weld the nut & have got a device in which you smash it onto the nut then bar it off, I cant remember what its called now!
