Hi,

Just been under my car and noticed that a hose connecting from the rocker to the TIP right near the turbo has began to perish quite badly, now I fiddled with the pipe and decided to cap the TIP side in case it split.

Now since I've done that I'm in limp with a lovely management light on the dash.

I'm guessing that this pipe wasn't just a breather after all as it does have a one way valve on it.

If someone can confirm my ramblings I will be more than happy. Just about to go hook vag-com up to see the fault, just thought id consult the clergy.

Merci.

OK so the word from VAG-COM is;

VAG-COM Version: Release 409.1-S

Control Module Part Number: 6K0 906 032 AA
Component and/or Version: 1.8L 20VT EU3 0002
Software Coding: 10500
Work Shop Code: WSC 00000
1 Fault Found:
17956 - Boost Pressure Regulation Valve (N75): Open Circuit
P1548 - 35-00 - -

Is that this breather I've left off? If so, will capping the end of that stop it from faulting, atleast until i can replace the shagged hose?

ok right next theory :)

Is the N75 the valve that connects to the TIP pretty much straight after the MAF connection?

Sits on the left handside of the pipe, connects into the TIP with another 2 hoses coming off it? If so, i reckon i know exactly whats caused this.

Cheers myki.
